In "Money Talks," two bank employees decide to escape their dreary lives by stealing a bundle. Then, they really get greedy.
As the episode opens, Mr. Cliff Gough is interviewing for a position at a bank. He gets the job, although he doesn't exactly explain what he has been doing for the previous four years. Mr. Gough is hired, but two years down the road, his ambition hasn't gotten him far. He is tired of having to handle so much money at the bank while never having enough of his own.
Miss Anita Willoughby also works at the bank, and she is tired of it, too. She and Mr. Gough decide to join forces and take a little something for themselves. Will they succeed? Or, will the money tell them to do things that they shoudn't?
"Money Talks" was written by Robert L. Richards and produced/directed by William Spier. Alan Baxter starred. This episode aired on July 3, 1947.
