In "Over the Bounding Main," Dan Dailey stars as husband who discovers that he has been set up for murder.
As the episode opens, Marty Evans and his wife, Claire, are bickering. Marty is unemployed, and Claire is unhappy. She wants money and clothes. He wants her to stop complaining.
The two of them have been invited for a weekend on Catalina Island by their friends. To Claire's surprise, Marty agrees to go. He thinks they both need some relaxation.
When they arrive at their chartered boat to Catalina, Marty gets his first sense that something is wrong. Their friends, the Warrens, aren't onboard. Claire tells Marty that they will meet them there. Then, he meets Captain Moran, who couldn't be any less friendly.
Marty carries on with his albacore fishing, but after a suspicious accident, he realizes that he might be in danger. Did his wife really want him to come on this trip for a vacation?
