In "The Giant of Thermopylae," Frank Lovejoy stars as a brawler who gets in a battle with a mechanical giant.
As the episode opens, Walt is being released from a night in jail. Despite a warning about staying out of trouble from the officer, Walt immediately searches for the guy he fought with the night before. He isn't sure who the guy was, but it doesn't take him long to learn his name.
Outside the jail is a woman, Mary. She thanks him for intervening with Tim Bennett in the bar last night, but Walt doesn't know what she is talking about. Mary thinks that he threw at punch at Tim to save her honor, but then she realizes that Walt just likes to fight. So, she tells him to get lost.
Walt then goes in search of Tim Bennett, the co-owner of the local fun park. He wants to give Tim one good smack before he leaves town.
"The Giant of Thermopylae" was written by E. Jack Neuman and produced/directed by Elliott Lewis. Frank Lovejoy starred. Also appearing were Joseph Kearns, Charlotte Lawrence, Herb Ellis, Paul Frees, and Jerry Hausner. This episode aired on May 3, 1954.

I also enjoyed this, hearing it for the first time the other day.
Frank Lovejoy is not a great actor but is steady and provides just the right amount of character to most parts.
