In "Just One Happy Little Family," Ray Noble stars as a widower who believes his new wife is a gentle, kindly widow...until he discovers how many husbands she had before him.
As the episode opens, Mr. Dunkel carries his new bride, Victoria, over the doorstep of their home. The house belongs to her, but they plan to live there comfortably with his money. It appears to be a perfect arrangement, but as the two newlyweds get to know each other, they find they have more in common than they thought...and that neither of them has any money.
So, Mr. and Mrs. Dunkel advertise for a boarder to come and live with them, and they soon find a young woman...with whom they have more in common than they thought.
"Just One Happy Little Family" was written by John Thornton and produced/directed by William N. Robson. Ray Noble starred. Also appearing were Lee Patrick, Shirley Mitchell, and David Sheiner. This episode aired on April 6, 1958.

Just One Happy Family featured Ray Noble, who had been the bandleader on the Edgar Bergen-Charlie McCarthy show. Lee Patrick played Henrietta Topper, Leo G. Carroll's wife on early TV. She was also Effie, Sam Spade's secretary in "The Maltese Falcon. Shirley Mitchell played Little Orphan Annie in the 1930's children's adventure serial.
