The only author who had more films made from his books would be Edgar Wallace, but most of these were B-movies so you may or may not class them as feature films.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the link to the info about Edgar Wallace. That is really interesting, and I don't really know if it makes a difference if the adaptations are feature films or not. I'm just reporting back what we were told at the festival about King vs. Woolrich. Personally, I take interest in the total array of adaptations from an author-- film, tv, radio, plays, etc.
