In "Violent Night," a plantation owner tries to escape from the revolutionary leader determined to kill him.
As the episode opens, Barry O'Grady, a plantation owner in the back country of the Carribbean, wakes in the night to discover that a revolution is taking place. One of his employee informs him that the leader of the revolution is Alacran, a man with a personal grudge against O'Grady.
Alacran soon arrives to raid the plantation, but O'Grady is already on the move. His chances to live through the night seem slim until he runs into Maria, Alacran's daughter. With her help, he may have a chance for survival.
"Violent Night" was written by Les Crutchfield and directed by Norman MacDonnell. William Conrad and Joyce McClusky starred. Also appearing were Ben Wright, Edgar Barrier , Michael Ann Barrett, Don Diamond, Byron Kane, and Richard Beals. This episode aired on March 18, 1954.
