In "Memorial Bridge," an engineer tries to cover-up a murder by hiding a body inside of a bridge support.
As the episode opens, Charlie comes home late from work after visiting the construction site of the Blackstone Overpass. When he arrives, he is greeted with disdain by his wife, Clara.
She is not happy with him, not now... not ever. Clara is older and richer than Charlie, and she reminds him often that without her money he would be nothing!
Charlie has had enough of Clara. She is a horrible woman, and he wants to be free.
So, he gets rid of her...but, is he really free of Clara?
"Memorial Bridge" was written by William N. Robson and produced/directed by Paul Roberts. Robert Dryden starred as Charlie. Also appearing were Charlotte Manson, Ralph Bell, Sam Gray, Larry Haines, Lawson Zerbe, Roger DeKoven, and Pat Hostley. This episode aired on July 17, 1960.
