In "One Man Crime Wave" Dana Andrews stars as a police detective who must hunt down a killer on the loose in a frightened city.
As the episode opens, a woman has been stabbed in a city street on a cold night. With no clues left behind, the police have no leads to follow.
Then, the killer strikes again. This time, a waitress is attacked by a man who crept out from a doorway. Before she died, the woman was able to give the police a little more information.
Then, a couple is attacked, and they are able to obtain a piece of the killer's overcoat.
Based on what little information they have the police must find the killer before he strikes again.
"One Man Crime Wave" was written by Antony Ellis and produced/directed by Elliott Lewis. Dana Andrews starred. Also appearing were Charlotte Lawrence, Joseph Kearns, Junius Matthews, Tom Tully, Paula Winslowe, and Lee Millar. This episode aired on January 11.1954.
