In "The Storm," a husband and wife dance team face the reality of their broken marriage while a hurricane bears down on the resort where they are performing.
As the episode opens, the narrator describes the dramatic way in which deadly hurricanes are formed in the Caribbean Sea...
Then we meet Larry Westin and his wife, Joyce. Together, they form a succesful dance team.
While vacationing in Miami, Larry accepts a week-long booking from a nearby resort in Sea Beach. Joyce isn't happy when she hears Larry accept the offer on their behalf, but she has no choice but to go along. Joyce isn't happy about much these days. Success has gone to Larry's head, and now, he is a demanding schmuck.
The narrator then describes how the young hurricane grows and begins to move towards land...
Larry and Joyce arrive at Sea Beach. The ocean looks a little choppy but it isn't until the next day that they realize a hurricane is on the way. Larry doesn't care, whether Joyce leaves him or a hurricane crashes into the resort, he thinks he is invincible. Joyce can be replaced, but nothing can stop him!
Will the hurricane cut Larry down to size?
